Golf course description

With par 68 and lengths of 4941m for men and 4429m for women the course can easily be underestimated. However, a look at the slope values of 120 for men and 124 for women gives a hunch of the actual grade of difficulty. The narrow fairways, laterally confined by trees and bushes, demand precise and straight shots.

The greens, not too large in size, are difficult to read and occasionally undulatory. Moreover, the course tends to change its character in an extreme manner depending on whether the fairways are wet or dry. Although the trenches do not play a major role on this course, the bunkers therefor grimly defend their greens in a large number. Finally, the hilly grounds and slopes do not make the course much easier.

The experience of nature in the court's park with exotic trees and blooming rhododendron bushes is especially characteristic for Kronberg's golf course, as Ernst Kothe built it particularly preserving the splendid plantation. So it is not without reason that it is called one of Germany's most beautiful golf courses.
